Learn About the Access Provisions in Contact’s Autumn 2022 Season

Welcome to Contact, where we are delighted to provide a range of access provisions to ensure that you have the best possible experience during your visit.

At Contact, we offer an array of accessible performances including:

  • Shows in relaxed conditions.
  • Captioned shows.
  • BSL interpreted work.
  • Our Space 1 auditorium is equipped with an induction hearing loop.
  • All of our performance spaces have wheelchair access and allocated spaces.  
  • We also offer complimentary tickets for personal assistants.

Captioned Shows

LAST GASP

Landing somewhere between the realms of the live and the virtual, presence and absence, between staying home and venturing out, Peggy Shaw and Lois Weaver combine spoken word, movement and Zoom technology to respond to a world turned upside down.

Enjoy a captioned performance of Last Gasp on Thursday 1 December at 7.30pm.

RELAXED CONDITIONS

LAST GASP

Landing somewhere between the realms of the live and the virtual, presence and absence, between staying home and venturing out, Peggy Shaw and Lois Weaver combine spoken word, movement and Zoom technology to respond to a world turned upside down.

All performances of Last Gasp will be in relaxed conditions, pending confirmation of specific provisions.

You can see Last Gasp from Weds 30 November – Thurs 1 December.

ROBIN HOOD: THE 80S PANTO

Once our amazing Autumn Season is over, we move straight into the festive season! We are proud to present Robin Hood: The 80’s Panto by eight-freestyle.  It’s a fresh twist on the traditional, combining The Adventures of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood with an upbeat, sing-along, 80s panto playlist! 

You can see a BSL-interpreted performance on Saturday 17 December at 11am. 

And a performance in relaxed conditions, on Tuesday 20 December at 7pm. This performance will also be socially distanced and a sensory-adapted show.
