Every day is a party at Contact. But, this summer, we’re bringing you something extra special. On the 28 and 29 of July, we’re lowering the drawbridge and throwing open the castle doors for a weekend full of festivities!

Join us in the castle on Oxford Road as we wrap up our 50th birthday celebrations with The Big Banquet, and feast on a range of extraordinary cultural delights. Gorge on poetry, gobble on music, slurp up some art and reconnect with friends over a smorgasbord of fun.

From morning raves to spoken word slams and fashion shows, there’s something for everyone at The Big Banquet.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On Friday 28 July and Saturday 29 July, we’ll be presenting a raft of events at Contact that celebrate our milestone 50th birthday. Expect poetry, music, workshops and the best grub in all the land from our friends' ARMR Cafe and Kitchen. Come down to escape the ordinary, find your community and experience creative activities that are diverse, inspiring and in tune with today.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There are lots of ways to get involved; from signing up for free workshops to booking tickets to events during The Big Banquet, there are loads of brilliant activities to get stuck into. But, above all, we’d love to welcome you to soak in the banquet vibes in our building. Think of it like an open house. But the house looks like a castle. And is actually an arts venue.
