Hetain Patel

he/him Contact Patron

Hetain Patel is a multi-award-winning artist and performer from Bolton working in the mediums of sculpture, film, live performance, painting and photography. His work has been presented in the UK and internationally. In 2018, Hetain directed Contact Young Company’s show Oh Man, using interviews with boys and men from across generations to create a new piece exploring gender equality and expectations.

“My experience working with CYC will stay with me for a long time. The talent, bravery and collaborative spirit in the group was truly inspiring. It is clear that Contact foster an environment and support structures for young people of all backgrounds to be their full creative selves. It is an honour to be a Patron for an organisation leading the way in this important work.”
