News Story

Contact is a multi-arts venue that invests in the next generation. A big part of this is partnering with other organisations, offering space in-kind to theatre companies and emerging artists, as well as creating lasting relationships which can benefit our local communities and young people.
In order to ensure fairness and equity, we have decided to bring in a new process for applying for this community space offer. We are looking to partner with projects and organisations which align with our ethos as a company. We are a sustainable organisation and we place young people at the heart of all that we do. We identify young people as being 11-30 year olds.
How to Apply
If you feel that your organisation’s priorities align with ours, then we would love you to apply to partner with us and receive space in-kind to make your work happen.
We are also keen to hear what you could offer to our community, such as workshops and opportunities for young people, staff training and artist development.
To apply, you can either write an application, or voice record/film yourself, covering the following areas:
- Outline your values and how you feel they align with Contact’s.
- Tell us how you work with young people and local communities.
- Why do you want to work in partnership with Contact?
- What is it that you would want us to support you with?
- What do you feel that you could offer to us, to support us in achieving our mission?
- How do you make your work accessible?
- How are you striving to reduce your carbon footprint, in your work?
Written applications should be no more than 2 sides of A4.
Audio/video recordings should be no more than 5 minutes in length.
Please send your applications to: Beth Rigby (Engagement Manager) at bethrigby@contactmcr.com
