About MCYO Collaborative Opera Lab 2025

Manchester Contemporary Youth Opera invites you to join us for the world premiere performances of two 15-minute operas.

Devised in just ten days by two teams of artists with diverse skills, experience the results of their intense collaborative work. The performances will be followed by a short talk with the artists, guests, and mentors.

Our opera performances are devised by artists over the ten days leading up to the performances. We will display content warnings on the door, and issue updates via social media (@mcyopera), but unfortunately it is not possible to know the nature of any content warnings at the time of advertising the event.
