About The Cultural Welcome: Technical Theatre Workshop & Tour

A full tour of Contact from the Production Manager followed by a technical theatre workshop looking at sound, lighting and AV projections.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the technical side of theatre, as well as finding out about paid training and careers opportunities in the Production Team at Contact.

If you'd like to get involved after this event, Contact offers a Technician training programme every year called 'Technique'. Through this programme, you will receive hands-on technical theatre training, as well as the opportunity to tech a live show. Many 'Technique' participants have gone on to become casual technicians at Contact, to continue their training, before moving into permanent employment in the industry.
