About Mind, Body and Soul
Mind, Body and Soul is a FREE holistic wellbeing event for Black communities. Includes wellbeing activities, a health fair + refreshments.
Mind, Body and Soul is a free event for Black communities.
The event will include free yoga and soundbaths, with spoken word and poetry performances, and an open mic segment. There will also be free hand massages available as part of the health fair.
This event aims to promote the holistic health and wellbeing of our Black communities in Greater Manchester.
There will be a free health fair open to the public throughout this event, featuring leading Black health and wellbeing organisations.
1:00 : WELCOME
1:15 – 1:45 : SOUNDBATH with SIRIUS SOUNDS
2:00 – 2:30 : YOGA WORKSHOP with SOUL STRETCH YOGA
3:00 – 4:45 : POETRY + SPOKEN WORD with THE POETRY PLACE
4:50 : THANK YOUS & CLOSING
There will be lots of exciting freebies and empowering information and resources to help you look after your health and live your best life!
Refreshments provided by Buckles and Jerdine Caribbean Kitchen.
Participants will be able to sign up to the yoga and soundbaths on the day on a first come, first serve basis. We therefore recommend that you arrive at 1pm in order to not miss out.
