About Grime Workshop with Hypes

Are you a grime MC or rapper up for going toe-to-toe with grime legend Manchester Hypes?

Renowned MC and performer Hypes is developing a new music-theatre show about growing up in Manchester at the birth of the northern grime scene, in partnership with SICK! Productions.

He’s looking for MCs & rappers (aged 16-30) to join him in a free grime clash workshop, and maybe take part in a scene as part of live performances at Manchester’s iconic Contact Theatre in October.

The workshop is free, no equipment or preparation is needed, but come expecting to be writing and spitting bars, and taking part in a grime clash.
