We're excited to be recruiting event hosts to welcome audiences to our venue!

We are Contact – a theatre and performing arts venue on Manchester’s Oxford Road. We create and produce our own shows, host tours from some of the best theatre companies in the world and develop the next generation of artists, performers and community leaders.

About the Role

As an Event Host, you will provide excellent customer service and play a central role in ensuring that all audiences visiting Contact have a memorable, exciting and safe experience. You should be well informed about all aspects of our activity and communicate confidently to all visitors.

You will have a full understanding of the emergency and evacuation procedures and play a key role in their implementation. This will all be captured in your training session as detailed below.

Overall, you will be working in a fun, fast-paced environment, working on exciting projects and events within a supportive and welcoming team. This role will require you to work evenings & weekends.

• Start date: Monday 20th November – Compulsory training will take place on this day. Please do not book an interview if you cannot make this.
• Salary: £10.42 per hour
• Availability: You must be available to work over the Christmas period and on evenings and weekends.
