Presented by Word of Warning, Contact + STUN

A double bill of new works in development from Mark Croasdale + Avital Raz.

Staying In by Mark Croasdale
“Young, gay, fabulous — it’s all about being out and going out… isn’t it?”
Fueled by internalised homophobia and beset by social anxiety, Mark agonises over the ‘correct’ way to be a ‘good gay’, to be himself, and to connect with others. All he wants to do is invite you out… for a good night in.

My Jerusalem by Avital Raz
A solo performance derived from a song. A politically charged tale of a drunken one night stand, infused with stories of growing up in the turmoil of 80s Israel. A nuanced exploration of the politics of division, from internal checkpoints and separation walls to gender norms.
Can we go beyond the blame game to really see each other?
