In our first announced event for Queer Contact 2021, Russell T. Davies and Nathaniel Hall discuss depictions of HIV and AIDS on stage and screen.
Join BAFTA-winning screenwriting legend Russell T Davies (Writer of It’s a Sin) and award-winning theatre-maker Nathaniel Hall (Writer/Performer of First Time/ Actor in It’s a Sin) as they discuss their approaches to dramatising HIV and AIDs on stage and screen.
The evening also includes the premiere of short films about life with HIV today made by Dibby Theatre as part of ‘In Equal Parts’ – a community-led creative outreach project tackling HIV stigma and shame.
We are delighted that this event will be hosted and introduced by Contact President and Greater Manchester’s LGBTQ+ lead advisor, Carl Austin-Behan.
This event is part of Queer Contact 2021.
The event will be live captioned.
