Join us for a family circus experience like no other with new work developed by Ockham’s Razor with young people from North Manchester, alongside awardwinning show Tipping Point.
Switch has been created by a group of young people and the artistic directors of Ockham’s Razor. With movement drawn from circus, dance and object manipulation, Switch creates a shifting landscape of labyrinths, pathways and barriers to explore themes of division and integration. Switch features a stunning live sound track composed and performed by vocal musician and composer Bellatrix.
Tipping Point sees five outstanding aerial performers enclosed within the circle of the stage, transforming long metal poles into a rich landscape of images. Poles are balanced, hung from the roof, swung, climbed up and clung to high above the audience, veering from catastrophe to mastery. This elegant and daring show is accompanied by music composed by Adem Ilhan and Quinta, known for their work with Radiohead, Hot Chip and Bat For Lashes.
