14% is a new play written by Keisha Thompson, directed by Kwame Aseidu, with music by Werkha, which looks at the intersection of football identity & Britishness
14% follows the spiralling double narrative of two protagonists, Nadia and Tony. As they attempt to quantify their Britishness, we are drawn into their tense and claustrophobic journey set within the confines of a train carriage.
Who holds the power, and who does the work?
Premiering alongside the World Cup, and supported by National Football Museum, 14% addresses racism in football culture & the politics of DNA testing. Wraparound activity will include cup match screenings, workshops & talks.
