The Arden third year Theatre and Performance students present unTaPped: The Archive of Origin
Cutting Ties
Our women and men are unsafe in their homes. Trapped and controlled. We all know. But we turn a blind eye. Scared we won’t be heard. Despairing and authentic. The fear behind the peep hole and violence that exists between our walls.
A heart-breaking, courageous story examining the effects of domestic violence from the perspective of the victim and those effected.
(Turn Off the Tap) Before You Leave
If you had a letter… a letter borne from and influenced by your personal experiences, would you be willing to share it with the world?
Well, we are, we want to present you with our story. This is a discovery. Of how we arrived at this point in time, a collision of memories, of comedic and tragic tropes. This is our final investigation, a journey of reminiscence, before we leave and start a new story elsewhere.

unTaPped ’22: The Archive of Origin
Step into the archive and join us at the very point of our own creation. A collection of stories and memoirs retold by those who need them to become alive. Stay a while, explore the past, lose track of time. We’re about to reach the last page, but it’s only just the beginning.
As the last performances of their training, Arden third year Theatre and Performance students present unTaPped: The Archive of Origin – an exploration of storytelling, celebration, and commemoration through different styles of performance. It aims to showcase autobiographical, historical, and political origins, retelling the tales that make people into who they are.
