The Arden third year Theatre and Performance students present unTaPped: The Archive of Origin
***Nic Dwa Razy
Imagine abandoning everything and everyone you know, packing up and moving to a new country.
This is a story about one girl, two languages, and a multitude of opinions. A journey through the notion and struggles of being Polish and the very act of being human. Through my eyes, the outside is brought in, the far away is brought nearer. And, as the seasons change, the fundamentals of humanity are unravelled. Will you let the language barrier get in the way of our connection?
artificial night
They say that when you’re lost you should look inwards, but maybe that is where it all went wrong? When you just can’t find your words, maybe it’s best to just… not. And see what happens when you ‘shut fair daylight out’.
artificial night is a conceptual piece that reworks Shakespeare to tell an autobiographical story.

unTaPped ’22: The Archive of Origin
Step into the archive and join us at the very point of our own creation. A collection of stories and memoirs retold by those who need them to become alive. Stay a while, explore the past, lose track of time. We’re about to reach the last page, but it’s only just the beginning.
As the last performances of their training, Arden third year Theatre and Performance students present unTaPped: The Archive of Origin – an exploration of storytelling, celebration, and commemoration through different styles of performance. It aims to showcase autobiographical, historical, and political origins, retelling the tales that make people into who they are.
