All spaces are now booked up! We’ll have details of more summer activities soon.

Future Fires is a programme that supports artists, aged 18-30, in developing  radical socially-engaged art projects. It is for people who are passionate about combining arts with activism, challenging the status quo, and most importantly making a positive change in their community.

Our two-day short course will help you generate ideas and provide key project management skills. It will give you an insight into different sources of funding and into key strategies for community engagement.

The courses take place on:

  • Monday 10 – Tuesday 11 August. 11am-4pm.
  • Wednesday 12 – Thursday 13 August. 11am-4pm.

You can sign up to either of the two day courses.

This course will take place at Contact. To keep to social distancing rules, the course will be held outside and places for each course are limited to six people. We have provision for wet weather conditions.

If you have any queries about the course, and about how the sessions will be run, please email Rory Dickinson rorydickinson@contactmcr.com.
