This workshop is aimed at artists interested in developing a unique and creative social change project.
During this session, you’ll learn more about Future Fires and receive support in making an application to join the next cohort. We’ll be running through the application questions and different ways that you can submit.
What is Future Fires?
Future Fires is a programme which supports young artists to develop a socially-engaged art project in their own communities. During the twelve-month programme, Future Fires will receive high-level training and mentoring to develop their creative practice, leadership and project management skills. Once the training is completed, Future Fires will receive up to £1000 of funding to make it happen!
Future Fires has launched the careers of many young arts professionals and supported the establishment of new charities and social enterprises including Reform Radio, EnJoy Arts and Tandem Theatre.
Future Fires is supported by funding from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, UnLtd and The Peter Kershaw Trust.
