Audition slots are now open for Contact Young Company!
Contact Young Company (CYC) is Contact’s renowned, award-winning young ensemble, made up of young actors, dancers, musicians, singers, stand-up comedians, poets and MCs.
The company aims to place access and diversity at its heart. Each year CYC creates brand new shows in collaboration with major national and international artists such as Forced Entertainment, Highrise Theatre, Stacey Makishi and Slung Low.
How to apply
We are now recruiting for the next cohort of company members, who will work towards creating a piece that will premiere in July 2022. The audition will be a relaxed, group workshop and you don’t need to prepare anything.
The piece CYC will be working towards in July will take place in a non-performance space and will take the form of film and multimedia performance. It will be directed by Gob Squad.
