Presented by Contact and SICK! Festival in collaboration with Theatre DEGASTEN

If happiness can be bought, are milestones the new currency?

Buying a house, getting married and having a baby are all seen as measures of success in our society. That you’ve ‘made it’ in life. But in 2019, are these milestones outdated? Can we trust them?

Baby Fever explores the relationship between milestones and materialism, fusing movement with monologues and physical theatre. Contact Young Company will perform parts of the piece with their eyes closed, as a comment on trust.

Created by Contact Young Company in collaboration with Theater DEGASTEN and soundtracked by a live DJ, Baby Fever responds to SICK! Festival’s guiding principal for 2019… what is the value of a life?

Baby Fever is an interactive piece of theatre, and seating will be on mattresses and chairs.
