WHY ARE CONTACT SCREENING THE MATCHES?

At Contact, we’re not afraid to hold space for difficult conversations.

Our FIFA World Cup 2022 screenings and panel discussions aim to platform the debate surrounding the hosting of the tournament in Qatar. We’ll be exploring a range of themes including LGBTQ+ representation in football, racism in the sport and more.

There are many concerns regarding Qatar’s suitability as a host country and we recognise the human rights breaches, discrimination and corruption that have occurred.

Our venue, as always, remains a safe space for all to critically explore these topics.
