If you rap, write poetry, songs or stories, come along to Writing Drop.
Over ten sessions we will explore different creative writing techniques, themes and bodies of work with musician Sam Malik and poet Rory Aaron.
We will look at bringing poetry to life for the stage, how to build strong narratives into your work, and how to have fun with rhythm and rhyme. Most of all, it is an opportunity to meet other writers in the city and increase your own confidence in your lyrical ability.
Writing drop is for any writer from the age of 15-25. The project will run for 10 weeks from the 26th of Jan and every Wednesday after that from 6.30-8.30pm until the 6th of April (with the exception of the 23rd Feb) in a drop-in style.
