We’re pleased to announce that we are part of the DCMS’s Culture Recovery Fund. This vital funding will help us to carry on providing a range of drama, music, spoken word and leadership projects for young people in Manchester, as well as working towards bringing safe live events back to our newly renovated and expanded building.
Matt Fenton, our Artistic Director and Chief Executive, said:
“This vital funding will enable us to continue to provide our life-changing creative programmes for the young people of Greater Manchester, free of charge. Contact’s brilliant staff and freelancers have delivered creative activity without pause through lockdown, first digitally and now from the newly expanded Contact building. The funding also provides further Covid-secure measures to enable us to resume some commercial hire activity. We are extremely grateful to DCMS and Arts Council England for this support.”
