Radical Manchester contemporary theatre Contact and aerial theatre specialists Ockham’s Razor are seeking young performers aged 16-25 to develop a new public show, Switch, in Summer 2018.

With movement drawn from circus, dance, object manipulation and martial arts, Switch’young performers will reflect on their Mancunian communities and the challenges they face – from inclusion to integration. Switch will be performed alongside Ockham’s Razor’s show Tipping Point.

If you are a young person with an interest contemporary circus/aerial, gymnastics, free running, contemporary dance, martial arts, street dance or breakdance – we want to hear from you. We also encourage performers with disabilities and can discuss your access and support needs.

No performance experience is needed.

To take part you will need to be available throughout the rehearsal period 30th July-15th August (only weekdays between 10am-4pm) at Factory Youth Zone in North Manchester, and all public performances at Manchester’s Upper Campfield Market 15-19th August. We will cover all travel and food expenses relating to the project.
