It’s hard to drag up when business keeps on dragging you down. But don't fear, Raze Collective have gathered together some renowned queer artists to give you a helping hand.
We’re talking the nuts and bolts of the backend of showbiz. Think workshops on funding, marketing, contracts, producing and much much more! It will also be an opportunity for artists to network with peers and see some of the UK’s newest queer performance. A professional development day for queer artists of all disciplines to skill-up, meet-up, and Raze Up!
This workshop will take you through the different offers, deals and set-ups you may encounter when someone books your
show. It will look at the differences between clubs, cabaret nights and theatres, and tell you what you’ll need to sell your
work to venues.
This workshop will be led Darren Pritchard, Artistic Director of House Of Ghetto and Creative Producer for Black Gold Arts.
This workshop will teach you how to cost your act, how to write a budget and the value of your work. You’ll also learn about
different funding options, including arts council funding.
Ruby is Executive Producer for award-winning theatre company Milk Presents and Project Manager for Raze Collective.
Ruby has extensive experience in fundraising, tour booking, producing, event managing and programming queer arts and

This workshops gives you tips and advice on how to make your presence known. We’ll look at how you use images, social
media and networks to help spread the word about your art.
