We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Manchester’s biggest and friendliest street food venue – GRUB – to open Contact Bar and Kitchen! This is the final piece in the puzzle following our major refurbishment and we can’t wait to launch our new food and drink offering.
The new kitchen will open on Wednesday 1st December with a full menu curated by Michael Anderson from Tikka Chance on Me. This will feature both an exciting evening menu including a range of Indian-inspired burgers and small plates such as Sticky Tamarind Wings, as well as a lunchtime menu featuring cold wraps, toasted sandwiches, loaded fries and more. The offering will be fiercely Northern but globally-inspired.
The bar will consist of a wide selection of beers from independent breweries such as Green Quarter’s Runaway Brewery, Manchester Union, Fierce Beer, and a unique range of cocktails created by GRUB’s in-house mixologists.

GRUB is a street food and drinks events company founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Jason Bailey and Juliana Bailey after a successful run as street food traders themselves. Now based at Red Bank in Manchester’s Green Quarter, GRUB hosts an amazing industrial events space, an independent cinema, a cosy hidden garden and more. The focus of the events is always providing an inclusive, festival-style atmosphere supported by exceptional food and drink supplied by truly independent producers and chefs. In addition to this, GRUB is committed to assisting and mentoring street food traders in order to support the grass-roots food & drinks community in Manchester.
