A major £6.5m refurbishment of Contact’s building is reaching completion. This next stage in the building’s evolution will see Contact open in 2020 with new and improved performance space; a purpose-built recording studio for young people’s music projects; an arts and health development space; new offices for artists and cultural organisations to hire and work alongside Contact staff; a new café/bar and many other exciting new features.
This role will provide effective and consistent lighting, sound, AV, stage management and other technical support of a high standard to all of Contact’s performance and participatory projects.
We have four vacancies for Technicians.
We are also seeking technicians to work on a casual zero hours’ contract basis.
Salary: £18,000 per annum
Main location: Based at Contact, but will be required to work at other sites
Responsible to: Production Manager
Works with: Artistic & Operational teams
Hours: 35 hours per week with a one hour unpaid lunch break each day. Hours will be on a rota basis.
You will be expected to work shifts which include weekends, evenings & bank holidays.
Status: Full Time, Permanent
