We are Contact – a theatre and performing arts venue on Manchester’s Oxford Road.  We create and produce our own shows, host tours from some of the best theatre companies in the world and develop the next generation of artists, performers and community leaders.


This is an entry-level role for a person with interest in the arts and performance and an interest in working with young people.  This role will involve being assigned to work on projects related to performances that have health and science themes.

This advertised role is part of the government Kickstart scheme.  To apply you have to be 16 -24 and in receipt of Universal Credit.  Please contact your work coach at your local jobcentre plus who will refer you for the Kickstart vacancy.   Once your work coach has referred you, then you apply directly by completing an application. Job Title: Kickstart Creative Projects Assistant (Health and Science)

Salary:  £8.91 per hour (upper rate national minimum wage)

Hours: 25 hours per week

Contract: 6-month fixed term
