About the role

We are Contact – a theatre and performing arts venue on Manchester’s Oxford Road.  We create and produce our own shows, host tours from some of the best theatre companies in the world and develop the next generation of artists, performers and community leaders.

The Creative Projects Assistant position is an entry-level role. We don’t require specific experience or qualifications for this role, other than basic IT literacy (emails, Excel), but we are looking for a person with some combination of an interest in the arts, in working in music, theatre and live performance, an interest in working with young people.

Job Title: Creative Projects Assistant

Salary: £8.91 per hour (upper rate national minimum wage)

Hours: 25 hours per week

Contract: 6-month fixed term
