QC17: Mother’s Ruin

QC17: Mother’s Ruin

Hosted by Timberlina.

Alt-queer performance platform Mother’s Ruin returns with an anarchic night of queer comedy mayhem. Avant-garde punk cabaret band SlapPer are joined by some of Manchester’s finest queer voices to present a raucous night of glorious absurdity.

Hosted by the glamorous and ecologically inspired bearded drag lady Timberlina and featuring (via the 192 from Stockport), international fun-smuggling housewife Mrs Barbara Nice; current champion of Literary Death Match Manchester - the dead funny, dark and surreal delight that is Fat Roland, rising star of the north performance artist Liquorice Black; and 5-piece punk cabaret band SlapPer - a transportational feast of dada-esque whimsy and surrealist grunge-glam punk and “Easily one of the most insane and entertaining bands on the planet” Musicborn
