The Agency is a youth entrepreneurial project that empowers young people to affect positive change in their own communities through an innovative model developed in Brazil.

Following a successful 2 year pilot period supported by the Gubenkian foundation,  The Agency has been awarded £397,572 from The Big Lottery to continue its ground breaking work engaging young people from underserved communities nationally starting in Moston and Harpurhey, Manchester, and Battersea and Clapham Junction, London.

Participants with inventive ideas that will change where they live for the better will be supported by successful figures in society and local people to realise their projects. As part of the process each idea presents to an independent panel of community experts, past panel members have included;Sir Richard Leese of MCC & Dil Sidhu of The Manchester Business School. The panel chooses 3 projects and awards them £2000 each to deliver their project, business or social enterprise with continued support from The Agency
