Future Fires 2011
Chelsea’s project was aimed at KS1 primary school children and focused on ideas of interactive learning and learning through play whilst incorporating elements of the National Curriculum and Early Learning Goals. The project primarily involved drama and storytelling with elements of drawing, puppet-making, dance and video.
The participants would befriend a pirate who would send them video messages and letters. In return for helping the pirate run his ship, the children would receive treasure. But the naughty pirate discovered the school had treasure and visited the school. Only the children could save the day!
Following her involvement in Future Fires, Chelsea secured funding from Arts Award and O2 Think Bigger to deliver further projects.
