Flying Solo Festival Returns 5-9 May 2015 - Click here for listings

The ability of a single artist to captivate and hold an audience is one of the great performing traditions.  The Flying Solo Festival celebrates this skill with performances including live art, spoken word, theatre, intimate performance and dance.

Previous recipients of Flying Solo Commissions have included: Nikky Norton Shafau, Sophie Willan, Jackie Hagan, Greg Wohead, Louise Orwin, Hanneke Kruijpers, Dionne Verwey, and Ester Natzijl

This year's festival runs 5-9 May and features: Keisha Thompson, Christopher Brett Bailey, Cheryl Martin, the vacuum cleaner, Louise OrwinEster Natzijl, jamie lewis hadley, and Jackie Hagan.

Supported by Contact in collaboration with MC Theatre, Fuel Theatre, The Albany, and the National Rural Touring Forum, Cheshire Rural Touring Network, Spot On Lancashire, Take Art and Beaford Arts.
