Creative Experts is Contact’s unique programme placing young leaders and facilitators in commercial, business and third sector settings to deliver bespoke consultancy and training. The Creative Experts are currently holders of the prestigious Lever Prize – the North West Business Leadership Team’s annual award for world-class arts and business activity. September sees the commencement of a new project with Electricity North West: Flash-Point.
The Creative Experts have been commissioned to deliver a new £20,000 project – Flash-Point – based on our successful Future Fires model. Contact Creative Experts will collaborate with Electricity North West staff, empowering young people to run social action projects within their own communities.
Jonathan Collins, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Electricity North West, will be working closely with the team, providing training and development opportunities and advocating for the process across his organisation. Flash-Point is the biggest and most ambitious Creative Experts project to date, and an exciting opportunity during our Lever Prize-winning year.
'We're really excited to start work on the Flash-Point project. Having seen some of the Creative Experts team in action, I'm confident this will be a great collaboration which delivers real change in the community' Jonathan Collins, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Electricity North West
'This is an important project as it takes two models developed at Contact – Future Fires and Creative Experts – into new communities, supported by Electricity North West. It’s especially exciting as it shows the tangible benefits to businesses that models developed through the creative sector can deliver.' Contact Artistic Director/Chief Executive Matt Fenton
